On June 12, Tambov celebrated two big events at once – Russia Day and City of Tambov Day!

Derzhavin international students took an active part in the festivities. A creative platform was organized in Derzhavin Square, where citizens and guests of the city could immerse into the cultural traditions of different countries.

Сreative program was prepared for the townspeople and guests of the city and included playing the African drum, Moroccan guitar, Indian and African dances.

There also were thematic workshops on calligraphy, Hindi, Arabic script, mehndi, weaving of Afro-braids and face painting.

Colorful national costumes, flags and authentic music – that is the atmosphere of the creative stage with international students!
