Ceremony of conferring the status of president to representatives of national communities of international students

On May 31, 2022, in the assembly hall of the Medical Institute, a solemn ceremony of conferring the official status of president to representatives of student national communities of foreign international of Derzhavin University was held.
The national community is a structure that includes international students who are citizens of one country. The goal of the community is to provide comprehensive support on issues of staying in Russia and studying at Derzhavin University.

Community missions include:
- provision of information and moral and psychological support;
- coordination and organizational support of community activities;
- development of cooperation between international and Russian students in Tambov;
- presentation of culture, history, and traditions;
- assistance to students in learning the language, culture and history of both countries;
- cooperation with the Embassy on the territory of the Russian Federation.

The guests of the Ceremony were Vice-Rector for Youth Policy and Educational Work of Derzhavin University Svetlana Valentinovna Konchakova, Head of the Department for Organization of Work with International Students of Derzhavin University Evstigneev Maxim Nikolayevich and Head of the Department for Work with International Students of RACUS GROUP Afanasova Tatyana Andreevna.

The guests of honor congratulated the presidents on taking office and presented them with personal certificates and identification cards of the presidents of the national student communities.

The development of national communities will make it possible to more effectively provide the necessary support to international students of Derzhavin University and improve their quality of life in the Tambov region.
