WHAT IS THIS?

The step-by-step online quest "Tambov Light" was conducted for foreign citizens studying in all higher educational institutions of the region (Derzhavin Tambov State University, TSTU, MichGAU, Tambov State Pedagogical Institute named after S.V. Rachmaninov), with the aim of introducing them to the history and culture of the Tambov region. The quest consists of seven stages, dedicated to one of the aspects of region's life: “History”, “Culture”, “Science”, “Sport”, “Architecture”, “Society”, “Geography”.

The quest was implemented on the gaming website in February 2021. You can check its tasks on our site!

RESULTS

The winners were chosen for each stage and the whole quest. International participants showed keen interest in the local history quiz and the culture of the Tambov region. The project allowed not only to help international students learn more about Tambov culture, but also gave a chance to monitor the level of participants' current knowledge. The project is available on the site as part of the federal program "Favorable Environment for Foreign Students".
