In cooperation with the Department of International Education of Derzhavin University, the Center developed a project for the primary adaptation of international students from Uzbekistan who arrived in Tambov under the "double diploma" program.

After getting acquainted with the city's infrastructure, the dormitory and the university, students of the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service took part in the quiz "Express tour of Russia". During the game, the participants learned interesting facts about Russia, tried to guess the country from the photo and got acquainted with the cultural traditions of different regions.

Derzhavin buddy volunteers also showed the new students the main sights of the city, monuments and government institutions. The TambovGO walking sightseeing tour lasted 2.5 hours.

On September 4, together with Derzhavin international students our guests took part in the First Sports Festival "Zabeg V znaniya".

The completion of the project was an intercultural training, within the framework of which the topics of cultural stereotypes, peculiarities of perception, sociocultural experience and interethnic language of communication were raised in a game format.
