International Students Interaction Center
is a structural subdivision of the Derzhavin Tambov State University, founded
on September 1, 2020.

MAIN GOALS OF THE CENTER

- improvement of system of stay and training of international students in the universities of the Tambov region
- consolidation of universities’ activities on the issues of adaptation and support of students

TASKS OF THE CENTER

- creation of favorable environment for solving topical issues of student interaction in close cooperation with universities of the region, federal and regional authorities, non-profit organizations and national-cultural associations
- increasing the efficiency of using the regional infrastructure involved in organizing the learning processes and staying of international students in the Tambov region
- organization of regional events for intercultural interaction and a tolerant environment, countering the spread of ideologies of terrorism and extremism
- development of student self-government and organization of the activities of regional student associations of international students

MAIN AREAS OF THE CENTER'S ACTIVITY

- creation, development and support of a unified regional digital platform for foreign students of the Tambov region
- creation and implementation of consulting and accompanying services and services for foreign students
- implementation of grant activities for the development and implementation of socio-cultural youth projects for foreign students
- holding regional events aimed at harmonizing interethnic relations
- broadcasting the experience and results of the Center's activities at regional and federal sites through participation in forums, master classes, conferences, seminars, exhibitions and other specialized events
